Recently, the 2023 Giro d'Italia RIDE LIKE A PRO Yangtze River Delta Open Race concluded successfully in the Qingpu District of Shanghai. Shanghai paid
high attention and provided strong support for the event.
Xi Wang brand ambassador, world champion, and cyclist Zhong Tianshi were invited to attend the opening ceremony and promote the competition. Competing on the same stage were 3,500 participants from over 20 countries and regions. Among them, the Giant-Shanghai Rapid Ruiyue Racing Team, sponsored by Xi Wang, achieved victory in the Team Time Trial (TTT), while the Shanghai Lunyu Cycling Club secured third place in the Men's Masters category and Women's Open category.

According to data from the China Cycling Association, the proportion of the Chinese population engaged in cycling has grown from 0.3% of the total population in 2019 to 1.4% in 2022. In response to this, Zhong Tianshi expressed, "Twenty years ago, when introducing myself as a cyclist, some would question, 'Is this considered a sport?'
Now, with two successful Olympic victories and the hosting of more and more major events, more people are becoming aware of cycling as a competitive sport.
